BEHIND THE WORK

Can a soap film weave an impossible flower in three-dimensional space? In differential geometry, the Weierstrass-Enneper representation constructs minimal surfaces with zero mean curvature (H = 0) everywhere. This 3-fold symmetric trajectory winds across all three curling petals with exact 0.000mm periodic closure.
