Can Repeating Curves Wake a Jellyfish?

BEHIND THE WORK

Can repeating curves wake something alive?

Thirteen transverse curves gradually widen to form a luminous bell. Only after that structure is complete do five related damped waves descend, turning the abstract stack into a floating jellyfish. Each tentacle follows the same family of exponential sine waves with its own length, phase, and decay.

This is an experimental Artismathic work: the mathematics stays behind the image until repetition becomes recognizable as life.

Artismathic turns equations into visual art—one function at a time.
