64 Tetrahedra Hide Inside One Continuous Line

BEHIND THE WORK

Can one continuous line build a three-dimensional fractal from 64 tetrahedra?

Start with one tetrahedron. Scale it by one half and place one copy at each of its four vertices. Repeating that rule three times creates 4³ = 64 corner tetrahedra. The moving point continuously retraces the connected edge graph, then the completed Sierpinski tetrahedron rotates to reveal its hollow recursive structure.

Artismathic turns equations into visual art—one function at a time.
